Hi Everyone:

Our deepest condolence to Lois Sweeney. Her mother passed away at 102 years old. She was a strong supporter to Lois in her flying. She was a delightful lady to everyone who ever met her.

Congratulations to ourselves! Mainly to Cheryl Knight!!! Thank you Cheryl and to all who helped to put on a very good Flying Companion Seminar. We had seven women and two men who ventured out to the CAP building on a rainy day. (Well why not; it was too rainy to fly!) Every one of the participants applauded our efforts and, I suspect, have a new respect for the 99s. Some of the ladies may certainly consider membership if they become licensed pilots. The men enjoyed participating, too. The lunch was more than ample, refreshments were perfect and the program schedule seemed the best we have ever had. It was fun.
