The Proficiency Training Program
GROUND BASED ACTIVITY: FLIGHT ACTIVITY: __Attendance at FAA Safety __”Wings” certificate – any level Seminars __ Recurrency training (BFR,APT,IPC) __Re-currency training including __ Any new rating research & simulator training __ Check out in new aircraft type __Physiological training high-performance, tailwheel, __Aviation Judge training (ex: glider, ultralight, floatplane,etc. NIFA, WFPC) etc. __ Check rides with organizations __Aircraft maintenance training such as Angel Flight, Los Medicos such as Cessna Powerplant Flying Samaritans, Civil Air Patrol, Course Sheriff’s Patrol, Balloons, etc. __Any ground school course (ex: __First Parachute jump AOPA, CAP training course, __Fly-Ins – pilot or passenger Mountain flying, floatplane,etc. __Participating or setting up a Fly-In __Member of an aviation board. ********************************************************************************* Using the new PTP forms, ground and air activities will be weighed equally. With each member counting one point for her chapter for participation. Awards will be given at our Southwest Section meetings for the three chapter sizes (small, medium and large.)
