Barbara Crooker, Diana Ward and Cheryl Knight just returned from SW Section meeting in Ogden, Utah. They went on a tour of Snowbasin Ski Park, and Hill Aerospace Museum at Hill Air Force Base. Saturday night’s program speaker was Jake Garn, Senator and Astronaut. The next section meeting will be in Phoenix/Glendale, AZ around the beginning of May. The theme will be “We’ve come a long way baby”, a celebration of our legacy, 80 years of the 99s. Information for registration should be posted online soon, Cheryl has hardcopy if you’d like to see it. These events are a lot of fun, and give us great times for flying, and spending time learning about our organization and what we do.

We would like to discuss our current scholarship, do we want to change it, or do we want to add a new one – what do we need to do to get applicants? If you are interested in participating in this, please join us on Oct. 23rd at Donna Taylors house from 10 -1. Bring a sack lunch.
