Our Doris Lockness turned 101 on Feb. 2nd.  She is doing well in Sacramento area email is doris916@att.net

She is still driving her Jaguar and loves a lunch invitation.

FLYING COMPANION SEMINAR:  We will register at 8:30am and start by 9am.  Cost is $35 and includes lunch and papers.  Come to the upstairs room at the Jet Center, Redding Municipal Airport.  A committee has been appointed.  We will need the Chapter Board Meeting to finalize details.  Be sure to come and to help.

SCHOLARSHIP:   We elected to increase our Scholarship money.  We will take applications any time, but no later than Dec. 31st with the selection announced by Feb. 1st.

Be sure to come to the next meeting at the Q-Hut at Benton Field about noon.  We will start as soon as we can transfer from the FAA Safety Meeting that morning at Hanger 1A.

When one engine fails on a twin engine plane, you still have enough power left to get to the scene of the crash.
