HI EVERYONE: Happy New Year to you all. We begin another wonderful year together. Our chairman, Suann, is busy preparing material and adjenda for the AAUW Math and Science conference. It is for 7th & 8th grade girls. A real opportunity for us to show them a real wonderful opportunity. However, Suann cannot do it all and desperately needs someone to take over chairing the Flying Companion Seminar. Most of the work is done. We have met and drawn up an adjenda and all. Please call her and offer to take over. Several of us will help you and you can always call on Suann for information and guidance. You can call her at 722-9726 or email her at suannp@sbcglobal.net. She is waiting for your call .
Sue Kerr is working on arranging a visit to the tower so we can see the new radar system. We will let you know when this can happen. It very likely will be in place of a regular meeting.
Remember, we have changed the format for the meetings so that we can have more time for education, safety and/or video instruction. Our board meeting are more or handling the paper stuff. So come to the meeting, you will be glad you did.
OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY was a huge success. Julie and Don Ostendorf did it again! Could not have been better. I think we enjoy each others company more than anything. Lots of laughter and even the husband and boy friends seem to enjoy it all. Thank you Julie and Don. It was great!!!
